Aspectos farmacológicos das intoxicações em aves silvestres e exóticas: uma revisão da literatura
Abstract
Due to the inherent exploratory behavior of birds, and the frequent contact with toxicological agents, it becomes a common situation and is responsible for a large number of poisonings. Through ten scientific articles related to poisonings of wild birds, the causes, clinical signs, diagnosis and most appropriate treatments for poisonings were analyzed. It was concluded that poisonings by heavy metals handled by humans are the most common.
