Interprofessional Educational Actions: Experience Report in the Context of Multiprofessional Health Residency

Abstract

Introduction: Among the aspects that can be qualified in the teaching-learning processes present in the practice of preceptorship in the health area, the practice of interprofessionality through interprofessional education stands out. Objective: To describe and analyze the development and implementation of an interdisciplinary pedagogical action plan carried out with residents of a Multiprofessional Health Residency, in a Health Unit in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. Methods: Experience report, descriptive type. It was used as active teaching-learning methodologies the directed studies, diagnostic evaluations, feedbacks, shared consultations and the Reflective Portfolio. Results: The interprofessional educational action positively impacted the context of Multiprofessional Residency and the work process of the Health Unit, by encouraging the mobilization of the actors involved, and contributing to the review of the work process, approach with a view to the integrality of care. Conclusions: The use of the interdisciplinary pedagogical action plan, using active teaching-learning methodologies, provided significant learning for the actors involved and reflection of multiprofessional practice. Interprofessionality favors patient-centered action, identification of health needs and sharing of practices and procedures, but still finds many barriers to its applicability.
