Relações interpessoais vivenciadas por adolescentes a partir das principais cenas da peça teatral de William Shakespeare "Romeu e Julieta"
Abstract
Recognizing adolescence as a period of human life associated with new ways of behaving in society and the social changes that marked the beginning of postmodernity, interpersonal relationships stand out as important aspects for the formation of self-awareness, construction of views on life and conception of the future. In this sense, considering biological and social perspectives, we sought to understand the various interpersonal relationships experienced by teenagers today by recovering the main scenes of William Shakespeare's play 'Romeo and Juliet'. This is a narrative review based on the reading of the Shakespearean tragedy between February and April 2024, the main excerpts of which were organized into a corpus and submitted to the IRaMuTeQ software, which led the analysis towards two thematic categories: 1. Adolescence: physiology and anatomy, 2. The adolescent and interpersonal relationships. During the analysis, it was possible to observe the emotional instability and immediacy as the main characteristics that follow the development of adolescents, aspects that require the presence of a support network to assist in emotional maintenance and conflict resolution. Building social groups is the key for a healthy development of the post-modern teenagers who are mentally accelerated due to the continuous use of digital screens and the rapid transformations of post-modern society.
